Scholarship Registration

As part of the Emiratisation program, Global Air Navigation Services (GANS) proudly announces Scholarship program for talented individuals (UAE Nationals) to meet the demands in the fields of meteorology and to foster the professional development of Weather Observers and Assisting Forecasters. Weather observers collect, analyse, and disseminate weather information. Assisting Forecasters assist weather forecasters at airports to determine how the weather will affect planes taking off, landing and flying in the skies around the airport

Initial Training takes place at GANS Training Centre in Al Ain

Training Courses

Aviation English
Basic Mathematics and Physics
Weather Observer course (WMO BIP-MT Job-Entry Level followed by On Job Training).
Assisting Forecaster course (WMO BIP-MT Mid-Level Technician followed by On Job Training)
